Dear colleagues;

My Ladies and Gentlemen;

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for attending this IX Extended Consultative Council of MIREX, which took place under the motto ”MIREX AND ANGOLAN DIPLOMATIC ACTION IN THE CURRENT INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT: CHALLENGES AND PERSPECTIVES”, particularly all the invited institutions that presented us with the presentations of their representatives.

On the other hand, the presence of His Excellency João

Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, President of the Republic during the opening session is a sign of the importance that Angolan diplomacy has had in the internal and external life of the Republic of Angola.

Excellencies,After three intense and productive days of work,we can note that the diagnoses made regarding the diplomatic activity and the internal organization of MIREX require immediate resolution, but we note with satisfaction the general will to resolve and overcome all the issues presented.Therefore, as mentioned during the opening of this event, we want a dynamic and assertive diplomacy. For this to happen, we rely on the participation of all employees, from top to bottom, as only our collective action will bring the boat to success.harbor!Ladies Excellenciesand Honorable Ambassadors,Let us always remember that our first function is to represent Angola abroad, a function that we must carry out with zeal, pride and discipline, notwithstanding any difficulties that may present us.In this way, the discussions and reflections herepresented, as well as the speech by His Excellency João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, President of the Republic, serve as guidelines for our actions in the most diverse geopolitical regions where we are represented.Excellencies,About the internal organization, we hope that thereforms that MIREX has carried out comesolve many of the problems that our house has experienced over the years.The tools given during this meeting areindispensable to break taboos and the current work culture, in order to contribute to a better MIREX that can support with Excellence the Holder of Executive Power and of which we can be proud.Let us work in this way so that the conclusions and recommendations are implemented by all of us so that in the next Consultative Council we can evaluate and take stock of the tangible improvements both in terms of our diplomatic action and the internal life of theMIREX and its impact on the social life of allemployees.Dear colleagues,Finally, I take this opportunity to congratulate andthank all the support team that diligently worked in the organization of this event and that with the invisible work ensured that this meeting was a success.Thus, as the motto of our Ministry dictates: “For MIREX, all together and united”! we mustremain, for the sake of our diplomacy, our institution and our employees, as well as for the efficient implementation of the foreign policy strategy outlined by superiors.Well done!
