Senior Executive, angolan among 67 MBA students in China

Ambassador Albino Malungo was invited to make a presentation about Angola to Executive Master Business Administration students from Insead and Tsinghua The vice-president of Banco de Fomento Angola (BFA), Osvaldo Lemos Macaia, was in Abu Dhabi to finish the module on “Executive Master Business Administration at Insead Business School and the Tsinghua School of Economics and Management“, after going through Singapore, Paris, Beijing, Shanghai and Senzhen. Osvaldo Macaia is among the 67 foreign students who participated in this top executive training. The Ambassador of Angola to the United Arab Emirates, Albino Malungo, was invited to give a presentation on Angola to students in the last module administered, in Abu Dhabi, which ended on February 12, 2023. The diplomat highlighted the country’s valuable contribution to obtaining and maintaining peace, national reconciliation, consolidation of democratic achievements, social integration and macroeconomic stabilization, as well as the fight against corruption and impunity. Osvaldo Macaia, a 37-year-old senior executive, had deep technical discussions with Chinese financial and commercial entities about the various cooperation agreements between the two countries. The training allowed the Angolan to gain more knowledge and follow a path that will make him better prepared in terms of leadership and technical capacity to embrace future professional challenges. Born in Cabinda, Osvaldo Macaia graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Agostinho Neto University in 2006 and post-graduated in Business and Labor Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra in 2009. He has been a civil servant for over 15 years, having started his career at the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPTSS) and later transferred to the Ministry of Finance. Between 2018 and 2021, he assumed the functions of Member of the Executive Committee of Sonangol, the largest Angolan State Company that explores the value chain of the oil and gas sector.
