PRESIDENT OF REPUBLIC OF ANGOLA DIALOGUED IN ABU DHABI WITH SHEIK AL NAYAN

The President of the Republic, João Lourenço – who visited Abu Dhabi this Saturday on his way to Tokyo – held a courtesy meeting in that capital with the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two Heads of State, at their meeting, assessed the state of bilateral relations and opportunities for future collaboration in areas such as investment, trade, renewable energies and food security, for the benefit of both countries and peoples. The Presidents of Angola and the United Arab Emirates also exchanged views on the COP28 Climate Summit, to be held next December in Dubai, and underlined the importance of each country working towards sustainability, climate action and environmental protection.
