Minister of Industry and Commerce in Dubai to attract investments in the sector

The minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Angola, Victor Fernandes, visited, this Monday (11), in the United Arab Emirates, the industrial city of Dubai, a private complex that brings together different integrated industrial services, including logistics.

Minister Victor Fernandes, who is accompanied by senior technicians from his department, visited companies OSMAK, dedicated to the processing of fishery products, as well as ANORKA, which specialized in coffee production. The agenda also includes visits to companies linked to the transformation of agricultural tools, fertilizers, cereals, tubers and pesticides.

The government official, who is in Dubai to participate in the Africa-Dubai Global Business Forum, on the 13th and 14th of this month, will hold other important meetings in that territory in the scope of strengthening institutional relations, as well as attracting project financing in the country linked to the textile industry (clothing and footwear), food industry (rice processing) and wood (furniture).The industrial city of Dubai produces both for export and for Dubai’s internal consumption, being installed in an area of ​​55 km and employing approximately 50 thousand people.
